I had a good chuckle 🤣 when a client told me this the other day:
"You cut through the BS - it might not always make people comfortable, but comfort isn't how we make progress"
I thought about this for a bit, because "progress" can mean different things to different people....at different times.
To one person, it might mean a career transition
To another, it might mean slowing down and being present
In either case, it takes courage to do something that takes you out of your comfort zone. As your coach, my job is to challenge and support you in moving toward progress. I inform all potential clients that what they get from me may include 'harsh truths' that others have been afraid to share. It comes without judgment, and the client can choose what to do with it. And it is 100% in service of them - to learn and grow.
What are your thoughts?
What does progress look like for you?
Have you received "harsh truth" feedback that helped you progress/grow?
Let me know in the comments below. I’m curious to hear from you!!
